Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike

Spend National Trails Day outside on one of our trails to learn all about plants of the Sonoran Desert during this guided hike with Ranger Olivia. Enjoy a guided nature hike along one of our trails to see all the beauty the desert plants have to offer. We will be along the Tortoise trail which is rated easy with some uneven/rocky surfaces so please wear closed-toed shoes. Bring any questions you have about the plants that reside in the desert. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center, but please be sure to bring plenty of water. PLEASE NOTE: Outdoor summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events.
