Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Scorpion Hike

Join Ranger Derik on an evening hike through the park in search of scorpions and other nocturnal creatures. The hike will cover 3 miles total, 1.5 miles out and 1.5 miles back with an elevation gain of 200ft. Please bring flashlights, water and a jacket (weather depending). Along the way we will stop to look for scorpions, talk about plants, and history of the park. Bathrooms and water are available at the trailhead.
