More Information

Come on out and celebrate St. Paddy’s Day than with a fun, family-friendly hike! It’s St. Patrick’s Day, and if you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids, look no further! Join Ranger Kevin for this 1-mile fun walk on the North trail. Prior to the hike, you’ll hear the story of Lucky the Leprechaun, how he ended up in the Arizona desert after a long and difficult voyage from Ireland, and how he still is said to occasionally reveal his presence in the unlikeliest of places. On the trail, we’ll be searching for the elusive “desert shamrock.” Please wear closed-toed shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water. Restrooms are available near the trailhead. Please, NO pets. MEETING LOCATION: North trailhead No registration required.
