Meet at Area 4 parking lot. Participants will learn to identify several invasive species, their phenology and characteristics, and how to effectively remove these invasive plants. The initiative is to remove invasive plants as a proactive step toward ecological restoration and to reduce wildfire risk. Wear long-sleeved shirt, pants, and closed-toed shoes. Participants must be 13 years or older to participate in these events, if you are 13-17, you will need to be accompanied by an adult, or waiver and transportation provided by an adult. Note: If less than three people register for each event, we reserve the right to cancel at least one day before. If Canceled, email notification will go to the registrants.
