NC Science Trail: ecoEXPLORE at the Cowan Museum

Join staff from the Cowan Museum of History & Science and NC Museum of Natural Sciences – Whiteville for a nature quest (free of charge to all children and families in North Carolina) as part of ecoEXPLORE.   Learn about how you can become a community scientist and help professional scientists understand changes in the environment and see how these changes impact plants, animals and other natural resources!   - We’ll meet at the museum‘s botanical garden at 11:00 AM.   - Staff will be available to help kids sign up online for the ecoEXPLORE program, but you don’t have to be a member to participate.   - We will also help participants set up an iNaturallist account.   - Please bring a personal device, such as a smartphone or touchpad, to snap pictures of your observations to post on iNaturalist.   - Then, the nature journey will begin!   - Free lemonade and cookies will be served in the general store near the…
