More Information

Please join us at the Pinal Geology and Mineral Museum at 7 pm on Wednesday, May 20 for a special presentation on the Biology of Trilobites with valuable information on how to spot fake trilobite fossils! This is a real problem and our speaker, Susan Celestian, will share her knowledge and experiences with our group. Sue has a Master’s Degree in Geology from Northern Arizona University and has taught geology in various capacities here in Arizona. She served as Curator of the Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum in Phoenix from 1997-2007. Sue and her husband Stan have assembled an incredible collection of minerals and fossils. They specialize in fossil trilobites, or “bugs”, as they are affectionately called in some circles.
