More Information

Come join IMAG this summer for our STEM day camps! We are offering 10 weeks of camp in 2024, with themes like Forensics, Video Games, Junior Keepers, and Mad Science. Register by the week, or for the whole summer!

Junior Keepers: IMAG FT MYERS EXCLUSIVE! Your camper will take a walk on the wild side to learn about the wonderful world of animals during this crowd favorite camp session! Campers will participate in daily Meet-the-Keeper sessions, practice snake identification, help our Animal Care staff prepare meals for our Animal Ambassador friends, and create all kinds of animal crafts!

Video Game Camp: We’re gamifying learning! Campers will Level Up each day of camp by participating in elemental “Pocket Monsters” experiments, coding challenges, studying level design, and creating pixel art. Perfect for your Minecraft fans!

Space Camp: 3, 2, 1, blast off! Campers will take the Moon Base Challenge and create a hangar full of rockets in this astronomical camp session as they learn about flight both through the atmosphere and through space!

STEM Career Camp: The IMAG is just one part of a wide, wide world of science, and campers will discover just how big it is this week as they hear from STEM professionals in all kinds of different careers! Chemistry experiments, engineering challenges, health science activities, and robotics and computer science will show campers that no matter what they want to do, science can be part of their life!

Robotics Camp: Grind those gears! IMAG’s Robotics Camp session will see campers creating circuits, building robots, and learning what role algorithms play in robot-programming, as well as watching robotics competitions and live demonstrations to see how this technology works in the real world!

Storytellers Camp: Stories are also a science: a psychological science! Campers will create their own comic books, devise adventure maps, and play acting and storytelling games to strengthen the power of their imagination in this fantastic camp. After all, you can’t create anything, even science, if you can’t imagine it!

Movie-Makers Camp: Lights, camera, action! Campers will create movie posters and play acting games as they work on a stop-motion film of their very own, to be screened by our budding directors on Friday!

Art & Nature Camp: Go green! Campers will spend a week planting seeds and learning in the IMAG Garden, discovering how nature is full of math & art in art activities, and studying pollinators in this outdoorsy camp session.

Forensics Camp: Whodunit?! Campers become detectives this week. By practicing fingerprinting, handwriting analysis, code-cracking, and sketch artistry, campers will solve a mystery over the course of this camp session.

Time Travelers Camp: Travel back in time the IMAG way: with hands-on activities! Campers will create their own ‘fossils’, follow in the footsteps of the Calusa Empire by designing shell tools, go medieval by constructing castles, catapults, bridges, and more, and learn about and invent their own ancient myths as they discover the wonder of history this week.

Mad Science Camp: Whoa! What will they do next?! Mad Science is the name of the game this week as campers dart from weather science to fizzy chemical experiments, solar power to electrical circuits, making ice cream with super freezing power, and more!

IMAG Summer Camp has been rated one of the best opportunities in Fort Myers. We also offer scholarships for camp registrations. Camps’ age levels are designed for rising 1st graders through rising 8th graders.
