More Information

Dr. Maria Arredondo and her research team are studying how young children learn words, and how language exposure affects this, particularly in bilingual children.

The study will be conducted entirely online and will consist of two parts. The first part will be a 15-minute Zoom meeting with a researcher. The second part of the study will be a 15-minute questionnaire. During the first part, you will be sitting with your child while your child watches a video on the screen. The videos will be of two objects: familiar or unfamiliar (i.e. ball, shoe, car). Our research is interested in where your child looks when these objects are named. You will receive a $10 gift card after completion of each part of the study.
