Created in response to statewide needs, this inaugural program supports CTE educators in enhancing how students experience learning through inquiry, problem-solving, collaboration, and authentic, career-connected STEM instruction. Rather than adding new content, the experience focuses on high-impact instructional strategies that elevate existing CTE coursework across pathways.
Participants will engage in hands-on learning, design thinking, and collaborative planning while building practical tools they can immediately apply in their classrooms. The program was developed with the Office of Graduate Success and the Career-Technical Education Office at the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.
The CTE+STEM Innovation Lab will take place August 11–13, 2026, at Ohio ACTE in Columbus, Ohio. Thanks to statewide support, there is no cost to participate, and lunch is provided daily.
Space is limited, and early application is encouraged.
