iD Tech: BattleBots® Camp with VEX Robotics

The ultimate showdown is here! BattleBots® combines the craftsmanship of engineering with the high-octane excitement of a robotics championship. Grab your goggles and get ready to build a robot from scratch before battling in the arena. With your teammates, you’ll brainstorm and workshop your bot with hands-on building challenges. Design custom attachments like a claw arm or battering ram and tackle a series of competitions, from time trial races to capture the flag! Follow design standards set by tech experts at BattleBots® and optimize your robot until it’s ready to rumble in a BattleBots®-style robot tournament! Think you have what it takes to make it to the winner’s circle? “It’s robot fighting time!" Prerequisite: Ability to work in a team. Each student will be provided with an individual computer and will share robotics equipment. Ages 10 - 12 June 1 - 5
