Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Ranger Guided Hike

Come for Spring morning walk with Ranger Shaun! We’ll head down Lost Sheep Trail for a 3.2-mile round trip stroll. This easy rated trail will offer a number of opportunities to observe and discuss native plants and wildlife. We’ll chat about their ecological, historical, and sometime economic or medicinal values as we make our way through the desert. Closed toed shoes and water bottles are required for this hike. Hats and sunscreen are recommended. Feel free to bring along cameras, hiking poles, and whatever other gear makes you comfortable. As we will be looking for wildlife, no pets please. Restrooms and water will be available at the Nature center, near the trailhead. MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center Limit 10 participants. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 4/3/25.
