More Information

Get your blood pumping and work off some of that Thanksgiving meal this morning with Ranger Shaun! Come walk the lovely, if deceptively named, Waterfall Trail this morning with Ranger Shaun. This roughly 1-mile trail is barrier free for the first half and easy rated for the 2nd and has restrooms and water fountains at the trailhead. The 2nd section of the trail does contain some narrow sections, a small set of stairs, and some incline but is fairly navigable for most people in most circumstances. Commonly seen on the morning hikes are birds, small reptiles and mammals, and abundance of plants, petroglyphs along the trail, insects, arachnids, and depending on the state of the waterfall, possibly frogs and aquatic critters as well. Please bring sunscreen, closed toed shoes, a water bottle, and whatever you need to feel comfortable for a short hike. Please do not bring pets. MEETING LOCATION: Waterfall Trailhead Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center (602) 506-2930 ext. 5 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 11/28/2024.     Free with Park Fee
