Join Ranger Jacque for a guided hike along the Wild Burro Trail, where we’ll explore the desert and uncover some of the hidden mysteries of the Sonoran landscape — including the chance to spot wild burros! Take a scenic 3-mile hike with Ranger Jacque on the Wild Burro Trail. As we walk, we’ll uncover some of the Sonoran Desert’s hidden mysteries — from surprising adaptations of desert plants to the behaviors of local wildlife. And keep your eyes open — there’s a good chance we’ll see the wild burros this trail is named for! This is a moderate hike with some elevation changes, so please bring water and dress in layers to stay comfortable. Restrooms and water are available at the meeting point. Pets are not permitted on this program. Weather conditions may affect the hike — please check our website for any cancellations or updates before you head out.
