NC Science Trail: Hurricane Response and Rememberence Event

Sullenberger Aviation Museum is partnering with Carolina Aviators Network, Jungle Aviation and Relay Service, North Carolina Air National Guard Retirees Association and Operation Helo for a panel discussion about hurricane response and relief efforts. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, and the first anniversary of Hurricane Helene, SAM will host a special event to highlight the incredible work these first responders and other organizations did to help relief efforts. Members can join us from 10:00 am - 10:45 am for a special meet and greet with the panelists. Members should reach out to Laurynn Furr at Laurynn@sullenbergeraviation.org if interested in participating- spaces are limited so RSVP today! At 11:00 am we will have a panel discussion reflecting on these historic weather events and hurricane relief efforts today. Following the panel discussion, Roman’s All Star Food Truck will be on site serving lunch until 3:00 pm.
