Participants will adopt a drain (or storm water ditch/swale) for regular clean ups and data collection – counting and removing trash and plastics that would otherwise enter our waterways.

AUSMAP is a coalition of school students, environment groups, universities and educators gathering critical new data about microplastic on our shorelines. Using the data collected by our network of citizen scientists and researchers, AUSMAP is creating vivid maps of microplastic pollution.
